Diesel
Diesel came in to get his summer do. He is off to Kelowna which is slightly warmer than here right now. I used a #5 all over, scizzored his legs to finish and used blending shears on the face. He has in the past proven to be difficult over his legs, face and front legs. Today he was a very good boy over every thing…even the ear plucking. I as usual only got one shot at trimming under his eyes and the top of his nose. He struggles terribly over that area every time if I try to go back and get stray hairs. What a guy! But that is no big deal especially when he did not lunge to bite at all for his nails, legs and ear plucking. I feel very good as a dog groomer when a dog comes around to better behaviour over time.
Missy
Missy came in to get her usual hair cut today. I do a #10 modified schnauser type trim using a #5 blade to set the length for the leg and tummy fringe. Her owner does not want her ears tipped as in the Yorkshire Terrier breed trim but likes a short look to the face. Her ears don’t seem to sit up perky enough for the tipping to look good.Missy is a very good little Yorkie to handle…very cooperative and solid.
